About Saphire Game Studio

Saphire Game Studio is an independent Brazilian game studio founded in 2021 by Gabriel da Rocha during his Digital Games graduation at Fatec Carapicuíba, in São Paulo’s outskirts. The name “Saphire” was chosen to symbolize something rare, precious, and unique — a reflection of our mission to craft artistic and immersive game experiences.

With the arrival of Decomposition, Saphire moved beyond the academic environment and became a fully independent studio, driven by creativity and a passion for telling impactful stories. Our portfolio includes titles such as Alter Ego, Ashes of Jupiter, Sinfonia Del Inferno, and the psychological horror Decomposition — developed entirely using tools like Unity, Blender, Krita, and Figma.

We explore deep and thought-provoking themes — such as anxiety, depression, biological wars, identity, and love — often set in worlds inspired by science fiction, cyberpunk, heaven & hell, and existential dystopias. Pioneering the creation of Brazilian titles for the international market, Saphire stands out for its creativity and its ability to deliver unique, vivid, narrative-driven games with engaging gameplay.
